Interconnecting constellations
Now we can understand that when, for example, two of these ‘Ascendants’ are in line with one another, this opens a passageway from one sphere to the other. For example, when the East Point on the Horizon coincides with the 0° Aries point on the Ecliptic, this creates an opening between the individual realm of experience to that of the larger field of Earth (1.4). These constellations occur several times every twenty-four hours and depend, as we have seen before (13.8 and 15.3) on the geographical latitude where the person in question finds himself at that moment. At such moments, either the axes or the planes overlap each other.
Interconnected moments and qualities
Four times a year, the Sun is also involved in these constellations. We have already mentioned the cultural-religious resonance that people experience in these moments (15.2). For our astrological understanding, it is good to realize that it is the Cardinal Cross that forms the portal for this cosmic inpouring from Sun to Earth. At these four moments in the year, depending on the specific constellation, the Solar sphere can directly shine into ours.
Integration
These interconnecting constellations mentioned above refer to the three spheres that can be cast out from Earth: the sphere of the individual, the sphere of Earth and that of the Sun (*).
So in those moments of special constellations, these spheres around Earth overlap in some way (either daily or yearly) and allow for a direct transferal from the Solar Sphere to the individual person.
The image that now arises before our mind’s eye is that of an integrated whole of Man and Earth within the Solar System, with the angle of inclination of the Earth’s axis playing a key role.
Self-development
Because of this rhythmical attunement, it follows that our development is generated from Earth (10.2). So the conditions for inner growth and Self-development are delivered by the energetic field of Earth-itself. (13.8)
